Designing Entity Medical focused on creating a medical fit-out that prioritisec clarity, comfort and a calm, contemporary experience.
The reception and waiting areas are defined by high, dark ceilings, giving the space a more refined, workplace-like quality rather than a traditional clinical feel. The layout emphasises intuitive movement and clear wayfinding, allowing both patients and staff to navigate the clinic with ease while maintaining privacy throughout.
The clinic incorporates a comprehensive range of services, including an on-site pathology collection area, ten consult rooms and dedicated treatment bays, all carefully integrated into the overall planning strategy.
A restrained palette of natural timber and deep green acoustic wall panelling shapes the atmosphere, introducing warmth while supporting acoustic performance. Layered finishes and careful detailing soften the clinical requirements, resulting in an environment that feels composed, welcoming and reassuring for both patients and practitioners.

“The end result is an outstanding design, that I am thrilled with…”
"I engaged a Design and Construct Company for the fit-out of a new medical practice in Hobart’s CBD, and was fortunate to have Lynda Mills assigned as my interior designer. The project presented several challenges, including working around a large immovable concrete bank safe and navigating complex fire egress requirements. Lynda approached these issues with creativity and expertise, developing a design that is both functional and visually appealing. She also did an excellent job of optimising the space to support the income-generating capacity of the practice. READ MORE >
